So, here it is October.
It's crazy to think that 6 years ago Justin & I were planning, nix that...
I was planning our wedding (with my sisters & mom)...
Not much has happened over the last few weeks.
Still no job....
Still missing our family & friends...
Still hoping to come up with something amazing that will keep me motivated and inspired...
Justin is still loving his job.
He has Best Man duties again this month, as his buddy is getting married on the 23rd.
Justin has been counting down the days until basketball season starts, he had SO much fun last year, that he's ready for this season.
Jennie has gotten the law called on her for barking (AGAIN)!!
Jennie has calmed down a little but still enjoys meeting new people.
Jennie's daddie has taken her with him while he runs, she seems to enjoy herself.
Brewster is Brewster....
NO CHANGE!!!
Brewster still drools...
Brewster still farts (I'd be more polite about it if he was, but its farting, no ifs, ands, or BUTTS!!)
Brewster still smells stinky...
As I said before Brewster is still Brewster!!
So, that is our family!!
No new news...
We miss every one and cannot wait to see you guys!

Another Month Goes By and Found Another Way That I am Smarter Than My Husband
So, each day that passes some thing comes up and I find another thing that makes me feel a little better...
Today, Justin told me that I did not use the correct spelling of the word "by".....
Yesterday, Justin told me that our dogs were stealing his thoughts and that was why he couldn't remember what he wanted to say to me...
Tomorrow, Justin will tell me (and I quote) "that the sounds of babies crying makes girls' boobs bigger" (apparently this is the "research" that he learns/hears on Bob & Tom).
Let's see what has been up over the last month...
I went home to NY to visit family & friends and was able to see a few of them
AND
went to my bestie's wedding...
AND
spent time with my nephews, who are absolutely adorable!!
Well, off to watch TV with the hubby!!

Wow...I'm a VERY bad blogger....
It's been a while, so let's see what we've been up to...
We went to Tennessee to visit with Richard & Judy...had fun...
Unfortunately my parents weren't able to make it, their RV overheated in Pennsylvania.
We stayed in TN for a week and then headed to Texas.
We visited with Pam & Charles...had fun...
Jeremy & his wife were there for one evening before heading back to Fort Hood the next morning,
so our visit with them was short-lived, BUT we have invited them to come visit us in Minnesota before he heads to Iraq.
We spent time with our friends in Houston...always a party when The Stories are in town!
The Talkingtons invited us over and we saw the many babies that arrived within the last few months.
The Grecos invited us over for a party and we saw their grandbabies all together, such beautiful kids!
It is always nice to see Justin's friends.
What is a trip to Houston, Texas WITHOUT Freebirds?!?! So, we went to the Harley-Davidson shops in Conroe & The Woodlands after overstuffing our bellies at Freebirds.
Heading back to Minnesota, we stopped in Kansas City, Missouri. So far in the number of states that we have visited I outnumber Justin by four, but he has me beat in the number of countries we have been to!
Our goal before leaving Minnesota is to visit the Dakotas, Colorado, Nebraska, Montana, Michigan and Wyoming.
And after that I'll still outnumber him by four!! :)
Last week my parents came to visit. As they pulled into the driveway, I was on the telephone with my baby sister, Rachael and she wanted to talk to my mom, so I chatted with her.
Then........
ALL FOUR DOORS OPENED ON MY MOM'S CAR.......
AUSTIN & BRANDIN CAME TOO!!!
So, we got a whole week to spend time with my family.
We went school shopping with the boys....LOTS of shopping.
While out and about we went into a pet shop and saw a family with a new puppy....

Yea, I know we're weird!
We brought the boys to the Olmsted County Fair, where they complained about how boring it was.
Then we brought them to see the Viking Cheerleaders....as you can see they were happy after that!!
We went to the Mall of America, where we pushed Daddie in a wheelchair so we could do some REAL shopping. And then to Joe's Crab Shack, where Austin could have some crab legs...we have yet to find a place that will fill Austin up on crabs!! :)
They left Monday morning for home and I stayed up all night until my family was safe & sound back in Knapps.
Minnie and Millie apparently love each other. While Brock cannot stand Minnie because she jumps and gives big ol' puppie kisses!
Now back to reality....still looking for a job. Right now I am looking at volunteer work...which will hopefully get my foot in the door for a paying job.
Looking forward to this Sunday, a Riverside Concert.....STARSHIP!!!!
And preparing for my trip back to New York...
My best girlie is getting married and asked me to be in the wedding...
Counting down the days until I can head East!!!
I miss every one SOOO much!
As always our house is open to any one that would like to come & visit!!
and if you'd like to come and visit with Justin while I'm in New York I am sure he'd LOVE it!! :)

So here it is 12:40AM....and I'm awake....
Ugh!
I am SOOO anxious to head to TN this Friday...
I miss my parents and cannot wait to see my in-laws as well.
We went to our friends' son's 5th birthday party.
They have the most adorable children (plus one on the way).
It's also nice to hear Aunt Sarah & Uncle Justin...
so we have a new niece and nephew and a sister & brother!!
It's nice to have close friends here, cause every day I'm less and less missing home...
yes, I miss my family & friends, but i definately notice that when Justin & I are busy I'm not thinking about how much I miss every one and wish I was home with them.
Although things are still crappy with some family back home (& haven't talked to them in weeks), I still miss and love them...
The hardest thing that I have noticed is that although I know every one is busy...I still have a hard time understanding how our telephones only work one way...
I think that is one of the things that I definately miss....
I am not "in the loop"....
I am interested in finding out who is going to be the next expecting parents at the station...
as every thing comes in 3's and we have 2 moms-to-be right now...
well.....now that it's 12:50AM, I guess that I should close this blog....
still looking for a job, but excited about the upcoming week,

Latest....but definately NOT the greatest news....
Just got off the telephone with my mother...
apparently my older sister and her husband believe that hockey is more important than family....
we've planned this end of june trip since the beginning of the year....
and now my nephews are not coming because my sister and her husband want them to play in a hockey tournament...
needless to say, i would love to see them and hope that they some how get to come, but this was pretty much a test...
and it looks like my sister failed it horribly....
no more plans to move back to ny for work...
no more plans to go home in december for christmas...
this trip is MY last!!!
if you want to see me, come visit us in mn, every one is more than welcome to come visit and stay with us...
so, with that....
i am off to find a job, i don't care if i end up sweeping sidewalks and mowing lawns....
i sooo tired!!

What's New in Rochester, Minnesota?!?!
Well...
that would be no job and pushing my resume like crazy!!
All I have to say is that every thing will work out the way God plans...
my last post I was questioning what my plans were for the future...
and I was given the opportunity to quit my last job and start actively (100% of me) looking for a new job.
So far so good, not that many jobs out there but I'm pushing forward...
Justin and I have laid a plan with a "due" date...
if I do not find a position here that either
1. gives me the supervised hours;
or
2. pays more $$;
or
3. gives me a day shift mon-fri position
I am going to head east...
back to NYS and the opportunity to get my supervised hours there!!
As for every thing else...
let us see....
Justin is at a "required" retirement party today/tonight/tomorrow and will return tomorrow
in the mean time,
Jennie is following me EVERY where....must be a storm coming....
Brewster is busy drooling on our bed; as, without Daddie, he now has half the bed!!
I am as I have been for the last 2 weeks, looking EVERY WHERE for a job...
and cleaning...
I have been working on a 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off schedule....
30 minutes cleaning...
30 minutes searching the internet for a job....
30 minutes updating my resume and references
30 minutes filling out applications
30 minutes typing up cover letters
and then....
30 minutes to read my magazines, write in my journal, or play on the internet...
so far it's been 8 hours of this schedule....
and i've gotten SOOOOOOOOO much done...
our poor-excuse for an office is now 3 boxes less of "stuff"
now all i have to do is start filing as i've already sorted....
ALMOST FORGOT!!!!
We are counting down the days until we head to Tennessee and get to see our families....
it's been WAY TOO LONG!!!!

March Madness
I have finally figured out why it is called March Madness...
Because I am SOOOOO sick of Basketball that it is driving me mad!!!
Besides the fact that our television is stuck on CBS for the playoffs, Justin just got back Sunday from a trip to Northern Iowa for a Basketball Benefits Championship. He left Friday and returned Sunday afternoon. Apparently the Northern Iowa-ters believe they are New Yorkers....one bar that Justin went to was decked out in Buffalo/New York things...even the buffalo wings were called Buffalo Sabres!! lol
So while Justin was out and about in the mid-west, I went to a training up in "the cities"....yea, this has been difficult for me, as I believe in only one city....New York City!! :)
Any who, I went to a "functional assessments" training for the day...it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and the facilitator seemed to be a very nice woman. Albeit a review more than any thing else...
Once again, we are at a crossroad...the dilemma being: what should I do with my life so that Justin & I are better off in the long run.....
So....
1. Do I continue my job here in Rochester, Minnesota?
2. Do I return home and seek my supervision hours but leave Justin here??
3. Do I seek another form of employment?
UGH!!!
Life has given me an ultimatum.....

No New News
Not much going on here in Minnasoduh!!
Missing our family & friends and missing each other.
Still working crazy shifts and passing each other in the moonlight :)
We are already planning our next trip... Tennessee in June!!
Mom and Daddie are looking at property in TN, hopefully waterfront!!!
They're planning on RVing with Our Boys (no Monkey....too much of a handful for Granma)
Justin and I are going to kennel the pups and drive south...meeting them some where near Nashville.
All I can think of is I FINALLY GET TO SEE MY FAMILY!!!!!
Still working on our house....trying to make it a home....
Waiting on our tax refund so we can go crazy.....maybe buy some groceries...or go to dinner & a movie...thanks to Obama no Moola for The Stories!!
Well, seeing that I am at work, no new pics to share....not that I have taken any pictures of any thing since leaving New York and the family at Christmas Time.
Goal for this weekend: Go Take Pictures of Rochester, Minnesota!!!!

Home for Christmas 2009
We went home to spend time with the family and were able to reunite with our loved ones.
Brock of course, has gotten bigger and is a little stinker!
